Welcome to our online Motlow College Catalog!

If you have already enrolled at Motlow, you made a wise choice. If you have not joined our student body, we hope you will do so. The faculty and staff at Motlow College are dedicated to your success and helping you achieve your academic goals.

The college offers a wide range of programs for today’s higher education students on the Moore County campus and at its Fayetteville, McMinnville, and Smyrna centers. These programs include associate degrees in more than 40 disciplines that prepare students for university transfer or provide them with necessary training and education to enter the workforce.

Through our partnerships with state universities, area students can complete four-year degrees at Motlow. The college also provides workforce readiness training and certificate programs through partnerships with local business and industry leaders, fast-track associate degree programs, and dual/joint enrollment classes that give high school students the opportunity to jump start their college careers.

Motlow’s Honors Program provides an education of exceptional quality and offers a sense of community and collegiality for students who have a passion for learning, a drive to seek academic excellence, and a desire to learn more.

Outside the classroom, students have the opportunity to form friendships, share interests and develop leadership skills through memberships in a wide variety of clubs and organizations, including top-quality athletic programs. Student and college activities are highlighted continually on Facebook and Twitter.

Motlow College is a student-centered institution focused on student success. Our faculty and staff work together to provide a learning environment and college experience that support successful completion of educational goals. Nursing and Allied Health Department

If you are interested in pursuing a career in nursing or allied health, Motlow State is the place for you. We are working to add more Allied Health options soon.

Motlow's nursing program is known across the state for its excellent graduates. Starting in the fall of 2017, the nursing program will implement a new curriculum for the traditional RN program. Be sure to look at the information provided under the Two Year Track to RN link. LPN students who want to become an RN, after completing prerequisite courses, can graduate in three semesters. Be sure to look at the One Year Track LPN to RN Transition link. If you have the desire and motivation to become a nursing professional, this program is for you.

Motlow's EMS program is respected for its innovative and real-life training. The EMS program provides certifications in EMT, AEMT and EMT- Paramedic and an AAS degree for Paramedics. This exciting, growing program is on the move to get its graduates into jobs in emergency departments, fire departments, flight programs, and local EMS services.

Motlow State's third allied health program is Medical Laboratory Technology. The program offers an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. It is designed to prepare students to enter the work force as generalist Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT). Students learn the theories, principles, and disease correlations behind clinical laboratory testing. Motlow State encourages you to further explore this dynamic profession and our MLT program.
